About Us
The company was formed by David Wallace, whose career began with a full British Gas apprenticeship then 17 years as a British Gas engineer, part of 22 years in the industry. During these years he gained unmatched experience in boiler and system breakdowns, repairing and servicing a wide range of gas appliances, including boilers of all makes and models. ​David will aim to fix your issues as quickly as possible so will carry a wide range of boiler and system parts on the van. You will never be pushed needlessly towards a new boiler. David prides himself on many fixes when other companies said it wasn't possible. ​Fully insured and gas safe registered. What to expect on a visit for a boiler repair
We know it can be daunting when your boiler fails and your searching for the right company to repair your boiler. Wallace Gas & Heating has been specialising in repairing boilers and systems for over 20 years.

Here we will talk you through briefly how a boiler repair job works to let you prepare for our visit.

Firstly and sometimes over looked is the information you can obtain from the customer. So always make a note of any fault codes, noises or general issues you've been having. If the issue is a noise be sure to video the issue whenever possible, its amazing how many times it disappears as soon as an engineer arrives. We will also be looking for any patterns that could help us come to an accurate diagnosis, so if the issue is intermittent note down in a diary when the issue is appearing. We can look at this when we arrive.

We will use any fault codes to cross reference the manufacturers instructions and see what the fault code means. But don't be fooled, the manufacturers instructions may lead you to more than one part or to the wrong diagnosis all together so should only be used as a guide and not be totally relied on. There has been many occasions the fault code tells you its one cause but we have diagnosed it to be something else correctly. This is all experience.

Sometimes a fault can be diagnosed in minutes and sometimes they are more difficult. Occasionally a call to the manufacturers on site is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Every avenue needs to be used to identify the fault correctly. There are many tests that need to be used to identify faults correctly. These include to name a few: Burner pressures, inlet pressures, combustion readings, flow rates, fan pressures, electrical tests and many more besides. These will all be different depending on your boiler make and model aswell! Boilers are more complicated than they look!
Once were happy with the diagnosis we will hopefully be able to fix it there and then, otherwise if any parts are required we'll explain everything fully and obtain a price to complete the repair to get you up and running again.

Initial contact
When you first contact us we'll discuss exactly what you need and quickly book you in for the next available morning or afternoon slot

Confirmation of Appointment
The evening before your visit we'll send a text message to the phone number provided to confirm our attendance and also to try wherever possible to shorten down the window in which we will arrive at your property.

When enroute to your property
When we are enroute to your property you will receive a text message with 20 to 30 minutes notice to let you know we are on our way!
